We are so PROUD to present our new collection of trays.

MisseMai decided to create a beautiful collection of trays printed with the stunning SEASONAL TREES.

A buzzing Spring time tree, a beaming Summer tree, a windy Autumn tree and a sparkling Winter tree.

The trays will sweetly decorate any table or shelve. We absolutely love this pretty product and we think that they are perfect to use as small plates for delicious cakes and fruits AND they are practical as well -you can use them for hot pots and pans.

The do look very pretty used as a small tray for beauty products or tea lights.

DECLÉOR EYE CREAM

THIS IS THE BEST EYE CREAM EVER!!
I started using Decléor's Experience De L'age eye and lip cream 2-3 weeks ago and I must admit I'm IMPRESSED! It has reduced my black rings and the puffiness under my eyes (-they were SERIOUSLY dark!) and smoothened out wrinkles and the dry skin under my eyes too.
The only negative thing about this fantastic cream is the price...

IRIS APFEL

Iris Apfel sure is very charming and very much alive at the age of 90.
I just stumbled upon this article with her:


“Getting older ain’t for sissies, I’ll tell you. It’s very funny. I have a dear friend whose mother’s gone, but she was very funny. When I’d say ‘Yuda, how do you feel?’ she’d say, ‘Oh—when I get up in the morning, everything I have two of, one hurts’. You have to push yourself when you’re older, because it’s very easy to fall into the trap. You start to fall apart—you just have to do your best to paste yourself together. I think doing things and being active is very important. When your mind is busy, you don’t hurt so much. Thank God I love to do things. I feel blessed that I have all these opportunities at this stage in my life. I was always very busy with all kinds of stuff, and I’m very used to it—but at ninety, I have all these new careers—a makeup collection with MAC, working on glasses for Eye-Bobs, I’m on Home Shopping and on YOOX, and I do a big program with the fashion school at the University of Texas at Austin—they made me a professor.

YUMMI MUMMY

Charlotte Torpegaard is the beauty expert behind the 'Yummi Mummy' book (COMING SOON)


I'm not really into those sort of 'be-the-perfect-mother-and-the-sexiest-lover' books!!
There are thousands of those kind of disillusioning books out there trying to complicate and 'Barbiefy' the stressful time in your life when your kids are small.
 Lets face it - it's not the best time in your life to start lap dancing classes, have eyelash extension sessions every other week or have regular pedicure treatments even if some of these books are trying to make you believe it will be the best thing you have ever done.. IT'S NOT!
There are far more important (and less expensive and time consuming) things to do when your kids are small and need you the most!
GRRRRR..! Don't get me started on this foolish superficial subject..
The nonsense I have read in some of these so called cute girly 'mother to mother' books is UNBELIEVABLE! 


Right.. -now back to the actual content of this blog post.. 


The book 'Yummi Mummy' is actually on my wish list (it's not out yet but you can sign up using the link below) because I find Charlotte Torpegaard mature, and wise and detailed when it comes to her research of beauty products and treatments AND she has a little boy herself so hopefully there will be no silly 'over the top ' advises in the book.

LUSCIOUS LIPS

The organic beauty range 'Figs & Rouge' (click here to read about the products) has won 2 prizes at the Natural Health Magazine Beauty Awards 2009. One for a face serum and the other one for their lip balm. I can't wait to start using the organic lip balm on my dry winter lips - Hmm.. I wonder which smell to go for..? There are so many inviting little pots to choose from. I will order one of these pretty little vintage looking pots today from LOVE LULA and let you all know what I think once it has been use for a few weeks.
The lip balm is available at The Urban Outfitters shop in Copenhagen.


OKAY... the lip balm is now tested and I'm not impressed.! 
I would any day choose the Rosebud lip balm over this one.

MY NEW BEAUTY REMEDIES

When I was pregnant with Herbert I didn't take very good care of my skin so I ended up with a very dry, tired skin full of tiny red 'spider veins' that I had to pay a fortune to have removed with laser surgery afterwards.
This time around I'm almost obsessed with my beauty regime and it is really showing. 
My skin looks healthy and I have only had a few burst veins so far.


The AMAZING Decléor skin products are definitely working wonders on my skin. 
My new serum 'Aromessence Angélique' leaves my skin moist and glowing and the night creme ' Aroma Night' makes me wake up with the softest skin every morning.


As before mentioned - I purchase all my beauty products in the organic pharmacy 'Self Care Shop' in Østerbro, Copenhagen. If you don't live near by you can use their online shop :-)
