CLASSIC STORAGE

My husband gave me this super cool old piece of furniture the other day to store all my illustrations and drawings safely. I'm very much in love with it and I can't wait to paint it in the classic shade Pigeon from  Farrow& Ball. 

COOL DISPLAYING

I love this way of displaying frames, books, photos etc. and for someone like me who has a lot of framed illustrations to store it's such a cool and practical solution. I bought mine in IKEA for next to nothing and they look so nice in the MisseMai Studio.

FOR THE LOVE OF WOOD

From time to time, I get tired of all our painted, patterned and decorated stuff and start to imagine what our home would look like if I wasn't so obsessed with patterns, textiles and all shades of colored paint, in particular Farrow & Ball's shades of paint not to mention their wall papers!

I really do love the fine almost innocent structure of untreated wood which is no where to be seen in our flat..

Maybe I should start a smaller collection of beautiful wooden objects with these perfectly shaped bowls.

A couple of months ago, I came across the talented Miga de Pan who makes the most stunning hand embroidered designs. Since then, I have been eager to buy one of her wonderful products but can't really decide which one to "invest" in but then this pretty and quirky hand embroidered mushroom puff showed up on her blog and I absolutely love it!

This company, Farrow & Ball, has got the most beautiful color scheme of paint and wallpaper in the world. Im redecorating Herbert's room (soon to be Herbert & Huxi's room) and I'm not sure which one of these delicious 'solutions' to go for - think they might end up with walls covered in yellow "Broad Stripes".
