A CUTE COLLECTION

This adorable collection of MisseMai cotton blankets in beautiful colors is hand knitted with love to ensure the sweetest of dreams. The blankets are warm and very soft but still airy enough to use both summer and winter because of the knitting technique. Softly wrap your child with the blanket or use it to cuddle in bed or let your baby snuggle up to the blanket in the pram.

THE MISSEMAI STUDIO

An awful lot of colors are working their way into our studio these days  - it feels very joyful adding splashes of colors in the normally very black-and-white world of MisseMai Prints.

STINE SKYTTE

Stine Skytte is the LOVELY and talented artist specializing in weaving, that I share my studio with.
She graduated from Design School Kolding and the school of jacquard-weaving - Fondazione Arte Dela Seta lisio - in Florence.
Before I met Stine, about 5 years ago, I never thought weaving could be modern, beautiful or fun - but she sure gave me a different view.
Do visit her blog and see all the quirky and clever art she produces.

BOLD ANIMALS

WAUW...
This is a different collection!
Im ever so impressed with the big and bold animal prints from Charlotte Taylor's A/W11 collection.
And the color scheme is fantastic.
It must have taken a lot of courage to create a whole collection based on repeated patterns of flat sihuette drawings of big scaled penguins, lobsters and ants -sounds like the recipe for a fiasco but its not,
its delicate and stunning.
Incredible textile work..
And a sophisticated styling, all together BEAUTIFUL!
