STARS

Since laying eyes on the BEAUTIFUL wallpaper STARS
(now available at the MisseMai online boutique) I have developed a fondness for all prints with repeated patterns of stars.
Can you imagine how happy I was when one of my devoted blog readers, Helle D, emailed me a link to the blog Pattern Observer -a treasure box if you are into textiles- where I found these breath taking D&G dresses full of STARS.

WISHFUL THINKING

Helen Dardik is one of best pattern makers I have ever seen. The Canadian illustrator creates patterns full of quite a large amount of creatures and organic images beautifully placed in repeated patterns. Her work looks sophisticated and pretty and the color scheme is extremely well picked in all of her work. Even the  names of the patterns are well chosen 'Wishful thinking, 'Botanical Explosion' 'Occasionally Raining'.
